Apollo de Karoo is situated in the Onder Karoo close to Tankwa National Park & Sutherland. The 600 ha farm is against the foot of the mountains going up to Sutherland. (75km to Sutherland: 31 km on dirt road, and 44km on tar road) We are accessible with SUV or similar, but a 4 x 4 is NOT necessary. At the Tiny Isolate Cabin there is no other unit in a 1km radius. Enjoy beautiful scenery, clean air, zero traffic noise. Ideal for hikers, trail runners, mountain bikers or just to sit and read a book, to spend some time in the Karoo. Use Apollo de Karoo as your base and you can go out into the Karoo for rides, whether it may be on a mountain bike, in a car or enjoying the dirt roads on your adventure bike.
